Ιnterpreting
Translation and interpreting are two closely related but still different linguistic disciplines.
Interpretation is essential for today’s communications. It gives the opportunity to professionals, businessmen and speakers to address an audience in their language in order to be understood by the public. Interpretation may be simultaneous or consecutive. In simultaneous interpretation, the participants wear headphones, and the interpreter delivers the speaker’s message into the target language as he or she is speaking. Consecutive interpretation can be used for situations that involve a small number of people. In this type of interpretation, the interpreter waits for the speaker to finish a sentence and then delivers the speaker’s message into the target language.
Interpreters must be able to translate in both directions immediately, without the use of dictionaries or other materials. They must possess perfect public speaking skills and the intellectual capacity to instantly transform idioms, common spoken expressions and other culturally-specific references into statements the target audience will understand.
You can be assured that The Earth Hub will offer you high interpretation services that meet all the above-mentioned criteria.
